Jacob de Boer editor of Chemosphere

As of 25 October 2011 Prof. Jacob de Boer has been appointed as editor of Chemosphere.

As of 25 October 2011 Prof. Jacob de Boer has been appointed as editor of Chemosphere (http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/journaldescription.cws_home/362/description).

Chemosphere is an international journal published by Elsevier and designed for the publication of original communications as well as review articles. Chemosphere, as a multidisciplinary journal, publishes results of investigations related to all aspects of environmental science. Together with Prof. Michael Oehme, Prof. de Boer will be responsible for the section Environmental Chemistry of Chemosphere. This section will publish manuscripts dealing with fundamental processes in the environment that are related to dispersion, degradation and alteration of inorganic and organic contaminants of environmental concern focused on the dynamics of contaminants in environmental compartments such as water, soil/sediment, and air and their interactions with biosphere. The current impact factor of Chemosphere is 3.155.
